Another Bush Shoe Game! Sock and Awe!
We have another Bush shoe game ladies and gentlemen.
Since the start of President George W. Bush’s “shoe” incident I have been receiving lots of reports of flash games, animated videos and websites being distributed in the internet.
One internet entrepreneur Alex Tew got the better end of the deal by creating a flash game called Sock and Awe (based on the military codename for the assault on Iraq called Shock and Awe). The difference between the first game we reviewed against Sock and Awe is that instead of protecting President Bush with shoes the player’s the one literally throwing them at the president!
Although it has been thinly veiled with the character simply being named “Bush”
Alex Tew’s flash game got millions of hits and threatened to overload the servers for his site. He eventually sold his game on E-bay and it was bought for $7,818 to a British internet media company. “It was just a bit of fun, a bit of an experiment,” he said. “It’s actually turned out to be a useful fund raising exercise for our start-up, which is good given the present economic circumstances.”
