I’m what you call a total Bayantel customer. Why you ask? I have a Bayantel landline, A Bayantel DSL, and a Bayantel Wireless phone.

Let’s start with the phone. The phone has been around for two years so that ones out.

My DSL connection has been around for 4 days and well I’m getting 211 kbps during their supposedly SOD (Speed on Demand 10pm-10am) periods. I’ve called customer support several times and even emailed pictures of my ping and speed. Slow and really a problem but I’m not blogging about that.

What I’m blogging about is my Bayantel Wireless phone.

I was strolling down SM North Carpark looking at the attractive show windows carrying the latest gadgets while talking to my friend Jepoy over the phone when suddenly Jepoy told me he couldn’t hear me?

We were shouting but to no avail. I dropped the call and realized I was in front of a Bayantel branch.

There were even two people situated in the front asking people if they want to buy a Bayantel wireless.

I approached them and after explaining asked them what happened.

Much to my surprise one of the sales people told me “Wala pong signal dito. Mahina po talaga signal ng Bayantel”

O.o wow really smart dude.
