WiMAX Now Available in the Philippines Through Globe

It’s here! Globe has officially launched their WiMAX service in the Philippines! For only P795 per month, subscribers can get speeds of up to 512kbps.
“We challenge anyone with a competitive wireless subscription to try out our WiMax-backed plans. We are so confident with our service that we challenge you to try out our connection, risk-free. Should you be unhappy with the connection within one month from installation, we’ll give you your money-back, no questions asked”, said Menchi Orlina, head of Globe’s consumer broadband business group.
Although its currently slower than most visibility package but if you live in far flung places this might be the best alternative for you!
