Just in case you didn’t hear, a man by the name of Chip Tsao has decided that he is a patriot of his country and decided to lambast the Philippines. To further understand what Im saying you need to read this first

The War At Home
March 27th, 2009

The Russians sank a Hong Kong freighter last month, killing the seven Chinese seamen on board. We can live with that—Lenin and Stalin were once the ideological mentors of all Chinese people. The Japanese planted a flag on Diàoyú Island. That’s no big problem—we Hong Kong Chinese love Japanese cartoons, Hello Kitty, and shopping in Shinjuku, let alone our round-the-clock obsession with karaoke.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 171px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_FEciqVreT8k/Sc-llPUAytI/AAAAAAAADS0/T60ahFc2Xvc/s320/chip+tsaoClipping.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318651744132057810" />But hold on—even the Filipinos? Manila has just claimed sovereignty over the scattered rocks in the South China Sea called the Spratly Islands, complete with a blatant threat from its congress to send gunboats to the South China Sea to defend the islands from China if necessary. This is beyond reproach. The reason: there are more than 130,000 Filipina maids working as $3,580-a-month cheap labor in Hong Kong. As a nation of servants, you don’t flex your muscles at your master, from whom you earn most of your bread and butter.

As a patriotic Chinese man, the news has made my blood boil. I summoned Louisa, my domestic assistant who holds a degree in international politics from the University of Manila, hung a map on the wall, and gave her a harsh lecture. I sternly warned her that if she wants her wages increased next year, she had better tell every one of her compatriots in Statue Square on Sunday that the entirety of the Spratly Islands belongs to China.

Grimly, I told her that if war breaks out between the Philippines and China, I would have to end her employment and send her straight home, because I would not risk the crime of treason for sponsoring an enemy of the state by paying her to wash my toilet and clean my windows 16 hours a day. With that money, she would pay taxes to her government, and they would fund a navy to invade our motherland and deeply hurt my feelings.

Oh yes. The government of the Philippines would certainly be wrong if they think we Chinese are prepared to swallow their insult and sit back and lose a Falkland Islands War in the Far East. They may have Barack Obama and the hawkish American military behind them, but we have a hostage in each of our homes in the Mid-Levels or higher. Some of my friends told me they have already declared a state of emergency at home. Their maids have been made to shout “China, Madam/Sir” loudly whenever they hear the word “Spratly.” They say the indoctrination is working as wonderfully as when we used to shout, “Long live Chairman Mao!” at the sight of a portrait of our Great Leader during the Cultural Revolution. I’m not sure if that’s going a bit too far, at least for the time being.

Chip Tsao is a best-selling author and columnist. A former reporter for the BBC, his columns have also appeared in Apple Daily, Next Magazine and CUP Magazine, among others.

Okay let’s get started. First and foremost Mr. Tsao do I understand you correctly? Its okay for you to hear that 7 of your countrymen died in the hands of Russians but you can’t condone that the Philippines is claiming Spratly islands. Are you nuts?

You condone Japan but openly insult us. What’s the difference? Hello Kitty and karaokes? How trivial are you.

As a nation of servants? Don’t you know that most of your countrymen have fled to the Philippines looking for a better life and we have accepted them with open arms. They are Filipinos like everybody else.

As a patriotic Filipino man, this news has made my blood boil. I summoned Fei, my domestic assistant who holds a degree in Nutrition from the University of Hong Kong, hung a map on the wall, and gave her a harsh lecture. I sternly warned her that if she wants her wages increased next year, she had better tell every one of her compatriots in Luneta on Sunday not to drink melamine O.o

You call yourself a writter but you don’t know about journalistic responsibility. I read better stuff from tabloid reporters than from you.

Congratulations you have just proven yourself to be a racist and most of all a hack who uses words like patriotism to cover up your bigotry.

The newly elected President of United States is one cool dude indeed. Just a few days ago I heard he was using the Wii to practice his bowling skills.

In an article in the New York Times in which our soon-to-be President predicts a Florida win over Oklahoma in tonight’s BCS championship game, it is revealed that Barack Obama’s daughters received a shiny new Nintendo console when Santa Claus visited this year.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 328px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_BEwi9AP79Jo/SWjqBbQt7FI/AAAAAAAAAag/28lllAzed2w/s400/obamabowling.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289735072565292114" />

Mr. Obama said he’d have his hands full attempting to rescue the American economy. But he has gotten in a little practice in bowling lately on the Nintendo Wii his daughters received for Christmas. Mr. Obama, who famously struggled in bowling during last year’s Democratic primaries, said he performs better in the video game.

Then I heard he was going to appear in a comic book with Spider Man!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 213px; height: 324px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_BEwi9AP79Jo/SWjqTn9mmrI/AAAAAAAAAao/UjQoP2-ighk/s400/capt.9091300f755e4d9f85757c4fa3c64f89.obama_spider_man_wx106.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5289735385212426930" />

WASHINGTON – Spider-Man has a new sidekick: The president-elect.
Barack Obama collected Spider-Man comics as a child, so Marvel Comics wanted to give him a “shout-out back” by featuring him in a bonus story, said Joe Quesada, Marvel’s editor-in-chief.

“How great is that? The commander in chief to be is actually a nerd in chief,” Quesada said. “It was really, really cool to see that we had a geek in the White House. We’re all thrilled with that.”

The comic starts with Spider-Man’s alter-ego Peter Parker taking photographs at the inauguration, before spotting two identical Obamas.

Parker decides “the future president’s gonna need Spider-Man,” and springs into action, using basketball to determine the real Obama and punching out the impostor.
Obama thanks him with a fist-bump.

How cool is that

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_BEwi9AP79Jo/SVaSVHmq2WI/AAAAAAAAARA/kx-XBONYWvw/s400/riots_egypt1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5284572104282003810" />

On my way to a movie today I happened to buy a newspaper and one of the stories I read was about a certain DAR secretary Nasser Pangandaman and his son beating somebody up over a golf issue!? I can’t believe what I was reading but I was near my destination so I decided to look it up later.

After I arrived home I checked the internet and found out that the son was no ordinary son but a “Mayor” no less. The mayor of Masui city.

Let me get this straight a mayor and a DAR secretary was involved in the beating of a golf player and his son?

I asked my buddy Jepoy and he told me more about it. He gave me the link to blogger Bambee Dela Paz who was the daughter of the victim Delfin Dela Paz and sister to his son Bino.

She was able to blog about what happened that faithful day just a few days after Christmas.

The world has gone crazy

So, I just had the worst day of my life.

At around 1:30 PM today (Dec 26), at Valley Golf and Country Club, Antipolo City, Mayor Nasser Pangandaman, Jr., Mayor of Masiu City, Lanao del Sur, his father, Secretary Nasser Pangandaman of the Department of Agrarian Reform, and company, beat my defenseless 56-year-old dad and my 14-year-old brother to a pulp because of some stupid misunderstanding on the golf course.

(…)

Someone breaks up the fight. I thought it was all over. The mayor shouts to his caddy: “Hindi nila kami kilala! Sabihin mo nga sa kanila kung sino ako!” And believe me, I had no idea who this person was. But now I know. He’s the person who, with 4 other men, beat up my 56-year-old father and my 14-year-old brother. He’s the person who sacks a pleading 14-year-old kid in the face. He’s a person who, I am sure, is gonna rot in hell.

(…)

The world has gone crazy. Two politicians beat up a defenseless 56-year-old father and his 14-year-old son. At a golf course. I swear to God, I thought golfers were decent people. You would think politicians were decent people. I guess not. I guess they gang up on 56-year-old men and beat up pleading 14-year-old kids.

Please pray for my dad, my brother and for my whole family. Please pray that we get JUSTICE. Oh God, please, give these people what they deserve.

What kind of country do we live in?

These people had the tenacity to do such a thing despite numerous witnesses. It was broad daylight ladies and gentlemen and nobody was able to stop them.

These are examples of people who have too much power on their hands.

I can tell you what will happen next. They will the question the integrity of the people involved and buy off the rest.

If somebody close to the president will happen to read this or any of the other links I implore you DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

We have another Bush shoe game ladies and gentlemen.

Since the start of President George W. Bush’s “shoe” incident I have been receiving lots of reports of flash games, animated videos and websites being distributed in the internet.

One internet entrepreneur Alex Tew got the better end of the deal by creating a flash game called Sock and Awe (based on the military codename for the assault on Iraq called Shock and Awe). The difference between the first game we reviewed against Sock and Awe is that instead of protecting President Bush with shoes the player’s the one literally throwing them at the president!

Although it has been thinly veiled with the character simply being named “Bush”

Alex Tew’s flash game got millions of hits and threatened to overload the servers for his site. He eventually sold his game on E-bay and it was bought for $7,818 to a British internet media company. “It was just a bit of fun, a bit of an experiment,” he said. “It’s actually turned out to be a useful fund raising exercise for our start-up, which is good given the present economic circumstances.”

Only a few days after the sensationalized “shoe throwing” of an Iraqi journalist vs. George W. Bush. A gaming company T-Enterprise released a flash game called “Bush Boot Camp”

The game lets you protect the president by using shoes of your own to bat away the incoming shoes hurled against the president.
“If you watch the video clip, the Secret Service doesn’t move to protect the President until the second shoe has been thrown,” said Sadi Chishti, managing director of T-Enterprise, the Glasgow-based company behind the computer game. “We’re hoping the agents will use this game as a training aid for future footwear attacks on world leaders.”
Although I don’t know if this is intentional the shoes you‘re throwing to protect the president usually hits him instead
Although it’s still a crappy game I was into it for around 10 minutes. I honestly though you should be hitting him not protecting him?!
